Circular Economy

Course Description: This course introduces the key principles of Circular Economy (CE) as a sustainable development approach that transcends the traditional linear model. Participants will explore foundational strategies such as reuse, recycling, and recovery, understand how these strategies can be integrated into business models, and learn about the latest trends and steps toward achieving 2050 net-zero goals. A 2-hour Sustainable City tour will also be included to provide real-world context.

Course Objectives:

  • Identify the key principles of the Circular Economy and their relevance to sustainability.
  • Explain how Circular Economy strategies can be integrated into business models for environmental and economic benefits.
  • Explore the role of Circular Economy in supporting 2050 net-zero goals.
  • Design a circular business model using provided tools and templates.
